Our School Council
The Crawford County High School Council has been established as director under state law in  H. B. 1187 - The A+ Reform Act of 2000. Goals of the school council are, but not limited to, the following:

~Improve academic achievement~

~Solve difficult Education problems~

~Share ideas for school improvement~

The creation of school councils has been set significantly impact the improvement of student achievement.  The role of the council is to provide "advice, recommendations, assistance, and represent the community o9f parents and businesses." School councils have the opportunity to influence not only the instructional process in the school, but also the perceptions of and support for public education in the community. As the law states, the intent "is to bring communities and schools together in a spirit of cooperation,...and bring parents into the school councils that understand their advisory role and work together to focus time and effort on improving student learning in the school"
