Course Descriptions
US History: The study of the
history of the United States of America. This
class
will study from the first colony set in the new world to WWII and all
the
events in between.
Government:
The study of the
different types of government throughout the history
of the United States of America. Much importance is placed on the
Constitution and
how the government is run today.
Geography: The study of the
natural features of a certain part of the earth. Also
involves the study of the surface of the earth and how it is divided
into
continents, countries, seas, etc.
World History:
The
study of events throughout the world from the time the first
people arrived in the Americas to the 1990’s. Also the study of how
these events
have an impact our lives to this day.
Economics: The study of how
to deal with the production, distribution, and consumption
of wealth. Also involves the study of how people react to these factors
of wealth and
how the nation’s economy works.
